The life which never ends

Allah (SWT) says:
Ye have indeed in the Messenger of Allah a beautiful pattern (of conduct) for anyone whose hope is in Allah and the Final Day, and who engages much in the praise of Allah” (33:21)
From this verse we realize the importance of studying the life of the prophet (PBUH) by all Muslims from the death of the prophet (PBUH) until the Day of Judgment, this is because his life is a model for us as it was according to the commands of Allah (SWT) and it is full of lessons for us. In these pages I’ll not conclude all the life of the prophet (PBUH), but I'll try to extract few lessons from it, proved with examples.

Some Muslims nowadays are relying on the verse which says:
”…But Allah will bring His Light to perfection even though the disbelievers hate (it)”. (61:8)
so they are not taking any action to spread the Islam or strengthen
the Ummah of Islam, not knowing that Allah (SWT) in another verses says:
” And if you turn away (from Islam and the obedience to Allah), He will exchange you for some other people, and they will not be your likes”. (47:38) and He says: “Allah will certainly aid those who aid His (cause); for verily Allah is Full of Strength, Exalted in Might, (Able to enforce His Will)” (22:40)
How dangerous and serious this fact is? Allah (SWT) will certainly support, but not anyone who claims the love of Allah (SWT) and his religion without any prove. Rather he will support those who follow their wishes by steps and work hardly to support Islam and spread it through the entire globe.
If we take a look at the Seerah of the prophet (PBUH) we can easily see how hardly he worked and took all the possible actions to spread the Islam and get victory. He never gave up or claimed that Allah (SWT) will support him just because he was the prophet. This is the lesson which all Muslims have to understand and act upon it. To be clearer we should see some examples.
Firstly, after the three years of sanctions and the death of his grandfather Abu Talib and his wife Khdijah the conditions became very harsh in Mecca, so the prophet decided to go elsewhere looking for people to accept Islam. He went to Taif with Zayd ibn Haritha but the leaders of Taif didn’t accept the message, rather they told their children and their slaves to stone the Prophet (PBUH)... This was the most difficult day in the Prophet’s life as he said, but he was very patient to the point that he was offered the angels of mountains to crush those people if he willed, but he refused that because he hoped that their progeny may become Muslims… He made a beautiful Doua which any Muslims should study it... On his way to Mecca Allah (SWT) informed him that the Jinn had accepted Islam… This incident is full of lessons, one is we have to determine our goal and struggle to achieve it, second we have to be very patient, last but not least we don’t claim to anyone except to Allah (SWT) and seek help and protection from him.
Secondly, when the people of Mecca decided to kill the prophet (PBUH), Allah (SWT) allowed him to leave Mecca. He didn’t travel foolishly relying on the protection of Allah (SWT); instead he planned for this trip and took all the precautions. He chose a companion which was Abu Baker; he hired the best guide in Mecca even he was a disbeliever, he chose a specific destination which no one can think of it, He ensured that he could get food and news during the three days in the cave but at the same time no footprints had to be left… Each step he planned contains lessons for us but the main lesson is: as Muslims we have to work hard for the spread of Islam if we want the aid of Allah (SWT), as he aids those who reserved to be supported.
Last but not least, two years after Hijrah, the prophet (PBUH) planned to get the caravan of Abu Sufian on their way to Mecca, but he failed and found himself at the end obliged to fight against the disbelievers. He didn’t regress as it wasn’t his goal to fight, but he started consulting with his companions about the fight. He made sure that the Ansar are ready to fight with him, he got the approximate number of the enemy, he chose the battlefield, he made supplication to Allah (SWT)…this battle is full of lessons as well, but all goes under one thing which is: put your trust in Allah (SWT) and do as much as you can then you reserve the support from Allah (SWT).
To conclude, the study of the Seerah has no end, even it has 1432 years we still can extract new lessons from it. we should try our best to study the life of the prophet (PBUH) as it strengthen our love for him and it is full of solutions for the weakness of the Ummah.
Allah (SWT) says:“Allah and His angels, send blessings on the Prophet: O ye that believe! send ye blessings on him and salute him, with all respect.” (Al-Ahzab : 56)
