From the center to the international institute: the Halal sector in IIUM has being developed.

On Monday, 31st October, I visited the site of what is called: "INHART". It is a stand for of International Institute for Halal       Research and Training, after it was: Halal industry research Center
I arranged an appointment with its director Dr Hamza, home managed to give me a rendezvous in Wednesday, 2nd November 2011, after Zohor prayer, and we ware agree, and that it will be at 2 PM.
I arrived to the institute 2 minutes earlier
. The reception men allowed me to enter. In the meeting room, I found Dr Hamza busy with his computer. After he saw me throw the window, he asked me to come in.
After giving him SALAM, he welcomed me, and permitted me to sit down. The meeting was started. Firstly, I introduced myself, and I give him the reasons that why I interested to meet him. It was for a brief introduction about the institute and its services. After that, he started to answer my questions.
"It was in May, 2011, when the center became the institute" he said. “Before that, many meetings were done in order to come up with a new policy, vision, mission, and future plan for the new institute", he added.
The institute now has its own philosophy, which it stands by. The awareness and the academic program as well as the training workshop are tools to sprite the HALAL culture. In addition, organization or co-organization of the national and international conferences, symposium, and forums are also activities of the institute. Last month, INHART provided a training program in Slaughtering process, and in this month it will be a HALAL Audit workshop. It will be held in 16 November.
"There are verities of HALAL sectors which are: the food, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic sectors. Therefore, the institute has many collaborations with lectures and searcher from different faculties, -of course – engineering, law, and science faculty in KUANTAN campus as well "Dr Hamza said.
In the end of the meeting, I gave him a summery of my engineering degree which was on "characterization, and performance study of some vinegar bacteria isolated from date vinegar".  As well as, the summery of Dr Bahmed REFIC PhD, which was on "The modern manufactured food, between SHARIA legislation and scientific analysis" . He thanked me, and asked to me to join the institute next semester.
The INHART located in E0 Engineering building for whom may wont to visit.
