The Function of Murabbi

       As it was mentioned, the Murabbi does exactly what parents do, but with further focus on teaching sophisticated information and skills. Murabbi’s work doesn’t stop in personalizing the theoretical knowledge but in trying to respond to the question: How knowledge will make from a student Muslim now? How to benefit from that knowledge now?

       We cannot teach and personalize knowledge if we did never live it, Murabbi is a person who experienced knowledge and this became a matter for him. It’s unimaginable that a person worries, interests, and works full heartedly in some task while he considers it as being abstract, mechanical or out of his own personal life and essence. The ultimate proof of truth is in living it, Murabbi has no distance between theory and practice, knowing and acting.

العلم نور للأبصار وبصيرة للفؤاد، وقائد في مضائق الدروب الوعرة، والظلماء المدلهمة، أوصى به المولى تعالى في أول آية في القرآن، وحثنا عليه المصطفى العدنان، واحتفى به العلماء وأهل الرفعة والشأن.

من هو الراشد ؟ إنه صاحب العلم، لأن العلم يوقف صاحبه على أخطائه فيصوبها فيزداد صوابا ورشدا، وأقرب الناس إلى الله هم أشدهم خشية له، وهم العلماء، لمِا اكتشفوا من سعة علمه تعالى وعموم قدرته وجميل رحمته.. هم من يتبحر في دقائق الكون من الذرة إلى المجرة، فيعودوا بمزيد الخشية وخالص التقوى وجلال التسبيح لله تعالى.. وفوق كل ذي علم عليم.

     لا أحد يرضى أن يكون في الحياة كالأعمى لا يبصر سبيلا ولا يرد ضررا، ولا يبعد خطرا ؟ لا أحد يريد أن يقع فريسة للجهالة وسوء الحال مع أن الحل بين يديه، ومفتاح العلاج موكل إليه، لكنه أغمض عينيه وأصم أذنيه.. هل يستوي الأعمى والبصير !

 Introduction

         Contrary to many studies conducted about Murabbi which focus on the historical narration of some figures lives and list their traits, the present discussion, as the author prefers to name it, looks thoroughly at the components of the word Murabbi and the real meaning of each term, it is an attempt to understand the role of Murabbi from an ontological perspective by asking questions on the fundamental concepts that turn around the essence of  Murabbi. Dealing with a topic from a wrong angle is just like using a ruler to cut meet or employing butcher equipment in a medical laboratory.
